“What’s the difference between coaching corporate executives responsible for large projects versus overseeing macro-level projects, which you gained while leading the Department of Education?” – we asked our colleague Daniel Bútora, who has been training and coaching project management executives from both manufacturing and service industries at FBE for years.
“It would take deeper reflection, but it probably takes the most energy for a person to choose “their struggles”, i.e. priorities. Not only what to get into, but also what not to get into.” Of course, if you are facilitating a major transformation, you can’t evaluate the whole project in a few months, but you can measure what we call the “Work Package” in project management courses. However, as we also know from our projects, in the end it’s the ability to get things done that makes the difference.”
At the FBE Training Centre, we enjoy a great interest in project management courses, where we discuss together with practitioners the pitfalls that project managers often encounter. In addition to the Project Management I course, which focuses on the planning phase of projects, we also invite you to other events where we cover how to successfully complete project implementation as well as advanced project management tools. The Project Management II course aims to teach participants how to manage a project during its implementation phase, including quality, time and cost optimization, as well as change management It also focuses on improving the organization of project work from the position of project team leaders and members and supports the exchange of practical experience in project implementation. The course covers strategic emphases in the different phases of the project lifecycle, critical success factors, and the organization of project team work. Also included are topics such as project monitoring, change management, hybrid management with elements of agility, and project evaluation, including ex-post benefit analysis and the post-project phase.
The Project Management IV course focuses on advanced project management methods. The objective of the course is to master advanced project management tools in the areas of the PMBOK® Guide and IPMA ICB 4 in accordance with the requirements of PMI and IPMA standards. Course content includes project integration and scope management, time, cost and quality management, human resource management, procurement management, project risk management, and portfolio management and management in a multi-project environment. The course also includes optional topics as agreed upon by the participants, such as certification requirements (PMP® – Project Management Professional; IPMA Level A, B, C, D®), Earned Value Analysis, Project Management Software Support, Project Financial Analysis, and Logframe in an ESIF environment.
